The inaugural RHS Badminton Flower Show is set to welcome gardeners, florists and horticulture enthusiasts to the historic Badminton Estate in South Gloucestershire from 8 to 12 July 2026, marking an exciting new addition to the Royal Horticultural Society’s calendar of events.
Held within the grounds of the renowned Badminton Estate, the five day event combines world class garden design with spectacular floral displays, specialist plant exhibitors and practical gardening inspiration. The new venue replaces the RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival for 2026 and is expected to become one of the summer’s premier horticultural events.
Among the show’s standout attractions are the prestigious Show Gardens, where designers compete for RHS medals, alongside Young Designer Gardens that showcase emerging talent and Pocket Planting Gardens featuring creative ideas for smaller outdoor spaces. Visitors can also explore Artisan Gardens celebrating traditional craftsmanship and country garden style.
One of the headline features is The Julia Rausing Garden, created by acclaimed designer Tom Stuart-Smith. The garden is the largest ever presented at an RHS show and promises an immersive planting experience. The event will also celebrate the 75th anniversary of BBC Radio 4’s The Archers with a feature garden designed by Jo Thompson, inspired by the much loved fictional village of Ambridge.
The Floral Marquee will showcase award winning growers, specialist nurseries and striking floral exhibits, while the Kitchen Garden Plant Centre has been named the 2026 Master Grower. Visitors can also attend talks from leading horticultural experts, seek personalised advice at the RHS Advice Hub and browse an extensive range of plants, gardening products and artisan goods.
