The British Florist Association is delighted to share that Angela Oliver, Chief Executive of the British Florist Association, has been appointed as a new charity Ambassador for Perennial, the UK charity dedicated to supporting everyone working in horticulture.
Angela joins fellow new Ambassador Steve Harper, Managing Director of Grass Gains, alongside Perennial’s original Ambassador, Mark Gregory. Together, they will help raise awareness of Perennial’s free and confidential support services across the horticulture industry.
As a leading voice in floristry, Angela will play an important role in helping florists and floral businesses understand the support available through Perennial, including advice and guidance around wellbeing, finance, employment, health, bereavement and other life challenges.
Angela said: “Florists are incredibly dedicated professionals, often working long hours under significant pressures. I am looking forward to raising awareness of the support Perennial can provide to florists, ensuring that individuals and businesses are aware of the charity’s confidential advice and wellbeing services, so no one feels they have to face challenges alone.”
This is a wonderful recognition of Angela’s continued work to champion floristry, sustainability, skills development and collaboration across the industry.
