Taking place from 26 July to 11 August 2024, the Paris 2024 Olympic Games will be the biggest event ever organised in France.
And, for the first time ever, the ratio of athletes at an Olympic Games will be one woman to every man competing making it the first gender equal games.
There are 45 competitions being held (with 32 different sports being represented), one of which is making its debut: breaking, or breakdancing. Approximately 10,500 athletes will be competing across the 329 events.
Rapper Snoop Dog will be among the torch bearers and will help carry the flame from the Paris suburbs before the final stop at the Eiffel Tower.
