The first edition of the Flora Spring Expo in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands, has drawn a strong opening day turnout, despite the uncertainty that typically surrounds a new trade event. The venue, while smaller than the established Trade Fair, is spaciously laid out and attracted a steady flow of visitors. The event took place March 18 and 19.

Most exhibitors were pleasantly surprised by the number of visitors on the opening day. The spring sunshine also played its part: in the aluminium halls, natural light filters through the transparent roof, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The indoor garden installation benefited particularly from this effect.
