Flowervision Group has partnered with COM:POST to expand access to a circular, closed-loop waste solution for florists across selected Flowervision locations.

The partnership will initially bring COM:POST’s established waste collection and composting service to Flowervision customers in Bristol and the South West, extending into South Wales from June 2026, with further rollout planned across London and Southampton locations later in the year. The Bristol launch marks the first phase of a planned rollout across participating Flowervision locations, with further expansion scheduled during 2026.

The service enables florists to separate green waste using COM:POST collection bags, which are then collected, processed into high-quality compost within 16–20 weeks, and returned to UK growing systems, creating a fully circular approach to floral waste management.

COM:POST has already successfully implemented this model across London, working with leading florists and high-profile industry partners, demonstrating a scalable solution that diverts floral waste from landfill and incineration. The service also provides sustainability reporting to support customers’ environmental commitments.

Through this partnership, Flowervision is enabling its customers within these regions to access a proven, commercially viable waste solution without adding operational complexity, integrating the service into its existing wholesale infrastructure.

Fiona Knowlton, Co-Founder of COM:POST, said: “From the beginning, our goal has been to help build a better environmental future for floristry through a genuine closed-loop system for floral waste. Partnering with Flowervision allows us to bring that vision to more florists across the UK in a way that is practical, accessible and commercially sustainable.”

Nick Hudson, Group Managing Director of Flowervision Group, added: “We are always looking for practical ways to support our customers in operating more sustainably. This partnership allows us to bring a proven circular waste solution directly into our customer network, helping florists reduce environmental impact while maintaining operational simplicity.”
