This annual show, billed as one of the best in the world, pulls out all the stops to impress, amaze and educate at the end of May. Our Editor was there for Press Day, and she came away suitably impressed.
The famous RHS letters were this year created by Acacia Creative Studio and their theme was Tropical Ombre. Their exotic florals looked stunning in the bright sunshine, giving ample opportunity as an Insta spot.

The Floristry & Floral Design category within the Great Pavilion was this year given a much better display space making the exhibits truly shine.
The Floral Creations category was the one which was being judged, and a total of 11 floral designers took part. We will showcase all their work in our Summer 2025 issue so please ensure you get your copy when it is published on 01 June 2025.
There were three entries in the non judged Creative Spaces category; Humus by Wagner Kreusch & Frida Kim (below left) and Tabula Rosa by This Humid House (below right).

And also Remnants by Emily Thompson Flowers which clinched the RHS Ambassadors’ Choice Award (below):

The Chelsea Punk by Ricky Paul Florist was quite a talking point (below left) as was the design created by floristry students of Doncaster College entitled Colour My World with Happiness and Harmony (detail; below right):

Orchidelirium by Hamish Powell was an ambitious overhead display (below left) which was placed next to the Orchid Society of Great Britain stand, while Ebb and Bloom: Textures of Wellbeing by Denise Jones Floral Design was a more grounded design combining mental wellbeing, sea swimming and floristry (below right):

We will share more Chelsea news across all our media platforms over the next coming days but we are sure you will agree that this is great for starters!
