Soon it will be time… between September 14 and 16, the city centre of Hoogstraten in Belgium will once again be filled with vegetable and flower splendour.
In fact, this event began in 1999 so, this year, visitors will be able to stroll through 25 years of ‘High Streets in Vegetables & Flowers’ history and get absorbed in the past and the present at this unique event.
Since 2012, floral designer Tom De Houwer has been the permanent designer of all the creations and under his leadership and coaching, his international team create new designs especially for Hoogstraten each year. And, as each designer has their own personal style, their inventiveness and enthusiasm will be unleashed on the general public big time!
This year’s designers include Cindy Gunther, France; Keith Stanley, USA; Ania Norwood, USA; Ekatarina Seehaus, Russia; Tuba Belgin Oskan, Turkey; Liz Rosales, Mexico; Katrien Goossens, Belgium; Michaela Wilding, the Netherlands and Kathleen Wuyts, Belgium.
What a feast for the eyes it will be!
